簡介 : 生命在於運動是人人耳熟能詳的,但怎樣的運動才能保障生命呢? 美國醫務總處發表一個報告名為 “身體活動與健康”, 鼓勵全民健體活動以防止各種致命的疾病, 如心血管疾病、高血壓、糖尿病、骨質疏鬆、痴呆、癌病等。這一個報告恰好和我們提倡太極拳的目的和方法不謀而合。太極拳的宗旨是通過太極拳運動,天下人人都能養生、卻病、健康長壽。太極拳以“鬆靜自然,柔和輕慢”為特色,適合任何年齡人士學習。
   
Introduction: Tai Chi Quan is one of the representations of internal martial arts in China. It emphasizes on “movements amidst stillness, and stillness in movements”. Tai Chi Quan’s movements are famous for being petty and flexible, light, and natural, in sequence, well organized, and also soft. While it exercise the whole body, it is not a strenuous exercise because the body is kept in a relaxed state at all times. Tai Chi Quan gives you a feeling of inner while you are doing the form. It is easy to learn and well suited for all ages.
